We are hiring Front-End Engineer
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORWe are seeking a Frontend Engineer with 2–4 years of experience building and maintaining modern web applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript, along with a solid understanding of frontend architecture, state management, and API integrations.In addition to frontend expertise, you should have a basic understanding of backend development concepts and experience working with REST APIs and modern web application architectures. Familiarity with Python and/or Node.js-based backend services is a plus.Experience developing interactive web applications, browser-based games, or other highly engaging user experiences is highly valued.You should be motivated, eager to learn, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of engaging web applications while continuing to grow their technical skills and experience.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and maintain frontend applications using Next.js, React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Build reusable, maintainable, and scalable UI components.
- Integrate frontend applications with backend services and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with designers, product owners, and backend engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
- Ensure performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and improve existing applications.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of professional experience with React and/or Next.js.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs.
- Understanding of state management solutions (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar).
- Familiarity with modern frontend development tools and workflows.
- Experience with Git and version control systems.
- Basic understanding of backend development concepts and API integration.
- Understanding of responsive design and frontend best practices.
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience with Python or Node.js backend development.
- Experience with JavaScript-based game development, particularly HTML5 Canvas.
- Familiarity with browser game/rendering libraries such as Phaser, PixiJS, Matter.js, or similar.
- Understanding of game state management, frame-rate optimisation, and asset/sprite handling.
- Experience building games or interactive features for mobile web.
- Experience working with AWS services.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker.
